3.5 starsCompared to the disappointment of book #10, this book was great.I hate that Sookie/Eric's relationship is doomed. It does seem CH is tying up loose ends to end the series, and I'm okay with that. Sookie's actions/thoughts/beliefs are still frustrating, especially for someone who has experienced as much as she has. There were some story lines that were left wide open (Claude/Dermot/C.D.) that I'm sure will be approached in book #12, but a lot of it seems ... forced. I believe CH had envisioned ending this series earlier and is now adding fillers to stretch it out as much as possible since it has become so profitable. I will continue to read the series until it's done but I don't find it as enjoyable as I once did. P.S. The "intimate" scene with Eric was a joke. Blech.
