A very enjoyable, steamy & sexy read. This book is almost a carbon copy of Fifty Shades of Greyalthough a bit more contemporary, I believe. The heroine isn't some puritanical virgin who has never masturbated (REALLY!?!?! E.L James??)and the BF isn't some lovestruck fool. After that, they're almost the same book. Some issues I had with this book:1. Eva constantly runs away from Gideon & any problem they are confronting. Even after stating she will NOT do it again, she resorts to this every time. 2. Their relationship evolves at a frightening pace. They are together 3 days before Eva asks him to attend couples therapy. 3. At times, Gideon/Eva's relationship came across as FAKE. 4. This book IS NOT BDSM. Just throwing the words Dominant & Submissive does not a D/s relationship make. 5. Gideon recreating Eva's room in his house so she can run away yet not run away was a BIG WTF moment for me. CREEPY, CREEPY, CREEPY.6. Gideon's love for oral sex is ASTOUNDING & completely unbelievable. 7. Eva's stupid speech stating that she wants Gideon to see her body & be hard. That if he's not turned on she's failed at everything was SOOOO superficial & STUPID. There were some memorable steamy scenes from this book. Their first encounter, the library scene is one of my favorites.If you enjoyed 50 Shades, pick this book up - you will love it.
